Description

This is your chance to own 40 acres on the Cahaba River in one of the most beautiful stretches. It is located on the east side of the river below the confluence of the Little Cahaba – downstream of the Wildlife Refuge and just upstream of the Co 26 bridge.  Five acres of the property is on the west side of the river. This location makes it very easy to canoe from the Wildlife Refuge to the property or from the property to the  Co 26 Bridge take out or to the Centerville. Take out The property has a canoe launch, a stream running through the middle as well as a spring. The terrain is rolling to steep with beautiful hardwoods – Cedars and Alabama crotons growing on the bluffs. The view of the river from the bluffs is magnificent.  The river is has a very gentle flow through this section with some places shallow enough to walk across the river and some deep enough to have some big cat fish. The River Red Horse spawn here in late April. Wildflowers on the bluffs are incredible in the spring. There is already power and water on the property. Call soon to schedule a trip to see this amazing place.
