Walter graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Alabama in 1988. Immediately he knew that he wanted to be in the hunting and land business. After assisting many landowners with land and timber management, he started Tutt Real Estate in 1991. The real estate company merged with Lower Dixie Timber Co., Inc in 1994.  Walter currently holds real estate licenses in Alabama, Tennessee, and Mississippi. Walter sat on the Board of directors for the Alabama Forestry Association and has been presented conservation awards by the USDA Soil Conservation Service. The Tutt family land, under his management, won the 2006 Helene Moseley Award for the South West Area of the State.  Walter has assisted landowners in developing thousands of acres into premier recreational tracts. Walter’s specialty is bringing buyers and sellers together in brokering recreational and timberland tracts. Walter, Marni and their children, Wallace and Camilla, live in Demopolis, Alabama.

Hale has been with Tutt Real Estate since January, 2004. He is an associate broker and says he feels blessed to be associated with this company and the people that work here. Banks grew up hunting and fishing in and around the small east Alabama town of Hatchechubbee. For several generations he and his family have been involved in that area in timber, agriculture and cattle operations.  With degrees in business and law from Auburn University and The University of Alabama, he spent 32 years representing landowners in their property matters.  For over 31 years Banks has owned and operated Homestead Farm, a purebred Black Angus cattle business. During that time he and his family have lived on the farm. He has personally managed and maintained the farm and other real estate for cattle, timber, wildlife and fish production. Having been involved with founding a bank, and serving on its board he has insight helpful in financing land transactions.  Banks and his wife, Margo live in Opelika, Alabama and have been married since 1968. They have 5 children (including a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law) and 3 grandchildren.

Todd is a Registered Forester with a B.S. from Auburn University in Forest Operations and a minor in Wildlife Management. He has worked with Lower Dixie Timber and Tutt Land since 2001.  Todd Lives in Butler, Alabama with his wife Tammy and their two children Logan and Hanna Kate. Todd specializes in timber appraisals and forest management. He is also a certified tree farm inspector.  As an avid outdoorsman, he appreciates good hunting property and uses his knowledge of forestry and current timber markets when evaluating properties.  His primary area is West of the Tombigbee River and into East Mississippi. Joe lives in Enterprise, Alabama and owns land in Coffee County where he and his four sons love to hunt deer and turkey as they manage their timber and wildlife habitat.  Joe graduated from the University of Florida in 1984 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army.  While attending flight school at Ft Rucker, AL, Joe already knew that he would eventually call Enterprise his home.  Retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel following a 22 year career as an Army aviator, with assignments across the United States and overseas, Joe and his wife Luca retired back to the Wiregrass in 2007.  After five years in executive management as a Department of Defense contractor, Joe followed a calling to pursue his passion for the outdoors and joined Tutt Land Company in 2012 as a Sales Associate with a focus on southeast Alabama.  A lifelong hunter and an avid outdoorsman, he feels fortunate to have the opportunity to join the outstanding team of professionals at Tutt Land Company.  Joe’s primary goal is to help others experience the personal and financial rewards of land ownership.

Ferrell graduated from Mississippi State University in 1970 with a BS in Forestry. He is a licensed Forester in Mississippi and was employed with Georgia Pacific for 3 years, The Mississippi Forestry Commission for 3 years and Weyerhaeuser Company for 32 years before retiring in 2006. Ferrell and his wife Shelia have 4 children and 6 grand children and own and operate a Tree Farm in Neshoba County, Ms. near Philadelphia. He also owns a Forestry Consulting Business.  Ferrell is on the Neshoba County Forestry Association Board of Directors and takes an aggressive approach in aiding landowners in maximizing  returns from their timber lands. Ferrell and Shelia are very active in their church and believe that we should be good stewards of the Natural Resources that God has blessed us with. Kelso’s heritage inspired him to pursue a career in real estate selling recreational property.  Kelso graduated from Auburn University in 2007 and began his real estate career with a commercial real estate developer based in Atlanta, Georgia.  After working in Atlanta for two years, he knew this wasn’t the route he wanted to take and decided to move back home to Alabama.
