Georgia

James is a native of Evans, GA but has been calling Statesboro home since 2017.  James resides in Statesboro with his wife, Anna Lee and daughter, Cohen.  Prior to settling down in Bulloch County, James lived in Athens, GA where he attended the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources to obtain his B.S. in Forest Resources.  He also holds an A.A.S. in Forest Technology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Over the past 5 years, James has worked as a Registered Forester with both timber companies and private landowners to accomplish the goals and objectives for their land.  Currently a Forester with Yeomans Wood and Timber, James has experience managing logging operations, procuring and marketing timber, and coordinating site prep and reforestation activities. This active timber management across nearly a third of the state gives James a competitive perspective on timber markets and land valuation in Southeast Georgia.

Whether you are looking to sell your property, diversify with timberland investments, purchase a hunting tract, or simply need assistance managing your timber, James would love the opportunity to work with you and guide you through the process.
