Payne grew up in Thomaston, Alabama, and attended Wilcox Academy, where his passion for land and the outdoors began. While living in Thomaston, he managed his family’s farming and hunting land, focusing on improving wild turkey and whitetail deer habitat, as well as managing trophy fish ponds. This hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of land management and property stewardship.
He later moved to Auburn, Alabama, where he earned an Associate of Science degree from Southern Union State Community College and worked for Russell Lands. His love for the outdoors—whether it’s managing property, hunting, or fishing—has always been a central part of his life.
Now working in real estate, Payne is excited to help clients who share his passion for land. He’s committed to making every transaction smooth, personalized, and focused on assisting others to find the perfect property for their goals.
