Drake Warren was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and is a proud alumnus of Central High School. His love for Alabama is deep-rooted, influenced by childhood memories of growing up just three blocks from Bryant Denny Stadium in what is now the Historical District in T-Town. To say he grew up in the shadow of all things Bryant and Bama would be an accurate depiction.
From a young age, he dreamt of playing baseball for a University in the South Eastern Conference, particularly for the Crimson Tide. This dream became a reality in 1991 when he earned a scholarship, allowing him to play baseball for and graduate from the University of Alabama.
Early in his college career, his faith took on a profound significance. This spiritual journey led him on a tour playing baseball across the Far East with Athletes in Action, an experience that transformed his life. Today, his foremost passion is the Lord Jesus Christ, and guiding others in understanding, managing, and stewarding God's creation is a privilege he cherishes deeply.
While his family resides in Tuscaloosa, he has made his home in Dothan, Alabama. The West Alabama region has been good to him, blessing him with a wealth of great friends and has offered him an avenue to serve the people of Alabama, especially in the Land and Timber Business as a Licensed Realtor.
His familiarity with the Alabama landscape is vast. He has hunted from Sumter to Bullock, from Andalusia to Fayette, and even worked with cattle near Little River Canyon in Northeast Alabama. His fishing adventures span from the Mobile Delta to the Tennessee River, and he has spent many days on the Alabama, Tombigbee, Warrior, and Cahaba Rivers.
