The Choctaw Tract is 92 acres of natural timberland, located near the intersection of County Road 1 and County Road 16, in the Eoline Community of Bibb County. It is less than an hour’s drive from Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Selma.
The property borders the Talladega National Forest on the north property line and a portion of the SW property line.
The property has direct paved road access. There are two entry points off County Road 1 onto the property. Power and county water are available nearby.
This property ideal for someone looking for a great hunting recreational timber tract or someone looking to build a dream home with plenty of room to hunt, ride atv’s, etc. The topography is relatively flat on the eastern side of the property and rises upwards from the west side of Lick Branch to the western most boundary line.
Lick Branch appears to be a year-round water source for wildlife.
Although I did not see any wildlife while touring the property, there are signs that indicate there is plenty of game.
The timber was cut in the late 90’s and has naturally regenerated itself. While the current woods do not have the old road system in place, I have attached an aerial photo of the place in 2010. From the photo, one can easily see the roads, and old fields that were in place years ago. This property could easily be transformed into a special place.
