The Windham property consists of 7 tracts or parcels and 335.33 acres, more or less, located in the Moundville and Havana area in nouth central Hale County, Alabama. The tracts can be purchased together or individually. The tracts or parcels vary in size, access, forest stand types, soils, etc.  Following is a brief description of each tract:

Tubbs Tract - 80 acres - $92,000.00 

Section 10, T22N, R5E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel #36-07-02-10-0-000-001.000

The Tubbs tract includes 80 acres, more or less, located approximately 4 miles east of Havana in north central Hale County, Alabama.  Access to this property is by woods roads across other ownerships while access over the property is by wood roads resulting from previous logging operations. The property is used for timber production and hunting. Forest stands on this tract consists of 63 acres of 2-year-old premerchantable pine plantation  and streamside management zone timber types.  This tract has hilly to steep terrain. The soils on this parcel include the following soil types: Luverne-Smithdale complex, Savannah and Smithdale.  These are good soils for pine timber production with site indexes, base age 50, of 85 to 90 for loblolly pine.

Harper Hill (Caldwell) Tract - 108 acres ± - $205,000.00

Sections 29 and 32, T22N, R5E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel # 36-07-09-29-0-000-020.000 and #36-07-09-32-0-000-002.000

This tract includes 108 acres, more or less, located on Hale County Highway 31 approximately 3 to 4 miles southeast of Havana in the north central part of Hale County, Alabama. Access to the property is by Hale County Highway 31 and is considered to be excellent. Access over the property is by woods roads resulting from previous logging operations and is felt to be good. The property is used for timber production but could also be used for hunting,  Forest stands on this tract include 78 acres of 2-year-old premerchantable pine plantation and streamside management zone timber types.  The terrain on this tract is considered to be hilly. The soils on this property include the following soil types: Bibb-Iuka complex, Luverne-Smithdale complex and Smithdale. These are good soils for pine timber production with site indexes, base age 50, of 85-90 for loblolly pine.

Wash Mims  "1" Tract  - 40 acres ± - $115,000.00

Section 30, T23N, R5E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel #36-02-09-30-0-000-011.000

The Wash Mims "1" Tract includes 40 acres, more or less, located on Gabriel Creek Road, approximately 3 miles south of Moundville in north central Hale County, Alabama. Access to this tract is by Gabriel Creek Road and Summer Lane and is considered to be excellent. Access over the property is by a woods road and is felt to be good.  This tract is used for timber production and hunting.  Forest stands on the property consists of 3-year-old premerchantable pine plantation  and streamside management zone timber types. The terrain on this property is considered to be slightly hilly.  The soils on this tract include the following soil types: Bama and Smithdale.  These are good soils for pine timber production with site indexes, base age 50 of 85 to 90 for loblolly pine.

Wash Mims "2" Tract - 40 acres ±  - $95,000.00

The Wash Mims "2" Tract includes 40 acres, more or less, located just north of Havana and just off of Summer Lane in north central Hale County, Alabama. Access to this tract is by Summer Lane, a county road and is considered to be good. There is little or no access over the property. This tract is used for timber production and hunting. Forest stands on this tract include pine, bottomland hardwood and streamside management zone timber types. The terrain on this tract is level or flat. Gabriel Creek flows through the southern part of the tract.  The soils on this property include the following soil types: Mantachie, Kinston, Iuka and Savannah. These are good. to excellent soils for pine timber production with site indexes, base ae 50, of 90+ for loblolly pine. A timber cruise is available for this tract upon  request.

Guinea Tract - 53 acres - $185,000.00

Section 25, T23N, R4E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel #36-03-07-25-0-000-002.000

The Guinea Tract consists of 53.33 acres, more or less, located on Hale County Highway 64 approximately 2 to 3 miles south of Moundville in the north central part of Hale County, Alabama.  Access to this tract is by the above-mentioned highway  and is considered to be excellent.  There is little access over this property but this is of little consequence due to its size and location. This tract is used for timber production and hunting.  Forest stands on it include pine plantation, pine, pine upland hardwood and streamside management zone timber types. The terrain on this property ranges from level or flat along the streams that flow through it to sloping to hilly.  The soils on this property include the following soil types: Bama, Bibb-Iuka and Smithdale. These are excellent soils for pine production with site indexes, base age 50, of 90-100 for loblolly pine. A timber cruise is available for this tract upon request. 

 Griffin Lot Tract  - 8.98 acres ± - $26,000.00

Section 7, T22N, R5E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel #36-07-03-07-0-000-019.000

The Griffin Lot Tract includes 8.98 acres, more or less, located next to Havana Church in the community of Havana, Alabama. This parcel is located on Hale County Highway 37 which is its primary access. Access to this parcel is considered excellent.  There is no access over the property but this is of little consequence due to its small size. This lot would be an excellent addition to adjoining ownerships. 

Wash Mims "3" Tract - 8.75 acres - $15,000.00

Section 33, T23N, R4E - Hale County, Alabama - Parcel #36-03-08-33-0-000-007.000

The Wash Mims "3" Tract is located approximately 1.5 miles northeast of the Stewart Community in the northwest part of Hale County, Alabama.  Access to this property is by a woods road across other ownerships. It is limited to some degree. Forest stands on this property consist of a bottomland hardwood timber type. This tract is used primarily for timber production but could be used for hunting if combined with adjoining tracts. This property has level or flat terrain and is wet natured especially in the northern part. Soils on this tract include Cahaba, Savannah and Urbo soil types. The Cahaba and Savannah soils are good soils for pine production with a site index of 90 for loblolly pine.  The Urbo soil is best suited for hardwood production. This tract would make an excellent addition to an adjoining ownership.
