Seldom does the name of a road have much meaning to me.  However, while visiting this property, I discovered this road to be appropriately named.  As I entered and exited the property, I saw multiple turkeys running up and down the road.  Unfortunately, I was unable to capture them on my camera while driving.  It was a surreal experience to say the least.    

Turkey Road 40 is located 6.5 miles from downtown Monroeville.  It is a hunter’s dream property.  Loaded with deer, turkey and the occasional hog, this property has unlimited potential as it relates to hunting.  The timber is comprised of mature mixed merchantable timber and could be an immediate income source.  The property is surrounded by two large landowners as well. 

After seeing wild turkeys on Turkey Road, I should have expected another bizarre encounter.  While walking around the property I noticed the year-round creek dissects the property from north to south almost evenly.  However, the water flows from south to north.  Not your typical natural flowing creek.  

The topography is rolling to flat and is easily walkable.  Although there is no power available, there are multiple places to build a nice camp or set up a camper.  The current owner has installed a bridge that allows you to easily cross the creek which connects a good internal system that can be used by a truck or atv.
