Great hunting, timber and recreational tract here...230(+-) acres located on Prospect Road about 10 miles south of Dadeville, only 5 minutes from Lake Martin and 25 minutes from the Auburn/Opelika area!!  This is one of the most scenic tracts I think I've ever seen due to the amount of old growth hardwood and most of all, beautiful Wind Creek. With around 4500' of frontage, Wind Creek makes up about half of the eastern and northern boundary of the tract.  There are some incredible rock formations and falls in numerous parts of the creek making it feel like you're in the North GA mountatins.  This is a big creek, flowing year around and eventually into Lake Martin.  You need to see it to apprecitate it, really a site to see!  Located near one of the falls on Wind Creek is a one room, rustic stone cabin with a pot bellied stove constructed out of rock found on the tract.  With a little cleanup and creativity this would make a great camp site for the family and the sound of the water rushing down the creek is awesome!  The timber on the tract is all mature, the hills and ridges being loblolly pine and the bottoms, big hardwood.  There is a great stand of white oak, red oak and other mast bearing trees for the wildlife.  Currently, four food plots are present on the tract and other areas exist for more possible plots.  The owners have killed several nice deer and turkeys over the years and while walking the tract, turkey sign was evident in many places.

Call me today to look at this pretty place, I will be surprised if it lasts long!!
